McCausland is a small town nestled on the banks of the Wapsi River in northern Scott County. Established in 1882, McCausland is a vibrant community of 300 people with many thriving small businesses, a volunteer Fire Department, a Post Office and a Methodist church. McCausland holds its annual festival on Labor Day each year with fun events and a fireworks display. It is conveniently located on F33 and Z30 within short driving distance of Eldridge, Park View, Princeton, Scott County Park and the future Lost Grove Lake. The Quad Cities and Clinton County towns of Camanche, Low Moor and Clinton are all within a reasonable drive.
